I’m a technology lawyer living in Amsterdam.
Originally from Texas, I’ve been a professional expat since 2004, having lived in Scotland and England for a combined total of 11 years before moving to The Netherlands.
Outside of law, among other things, I’m a father to a son with Trip 12 (a rare genetic mutation), and go to a lot of museums (Modern and Contemporary Art), live music, and arthouse cinema. In my other spare time, I run, research, and cook gumbo.
I am not to be confused with Katie Price or Jordan Firstman.

Jordan is an international technology lawyer and co-founder of The Grid https://thegrid.id/, with the mission to deliver validated and structured metadata for the blockchain ecosystem. He’s worked for many fast moving and innovative tech companies, public and private, from semiconductors to Fintech. Other past projects include Open Data Commons, Anime Fansubs, and cyber liberties work with the EFF, EFF-Austin, the Open Rights Group, and the Open Knowledge Foundation.
As to more formal qualifications, Jordan is licensed as an attorney in Texas, as a solicitor in England, has three university degrees, and a mail order doctorate of divinity degree.
